Google has a new interface and it is UGLY !!
The Google’s new interface (the one with the blue buttons) was in their testing phase for quite some time and it looks like they have finally implemented it at http://google.com. From the first looks the new interface is ugly and personally i do not like it. I am posting the screenshots below for everyone.

Now if Google can hear this.. please bring the old interface back…
What do you guys say for the new interface.. lets hear it in the comments.
Update : Google has implemented this interface (rather slightly less colorful) interface permanently… oh we are doomed !!
Update 2: Firefox users can now use the a Old Google userscript to get back the same look and feel

It happened to me few days ago. I blocked the cookies for google.com and it went back to the old interface. Then I unblocked it and it still stayed on the old interface.

Google was my favorite site since I first tried it, but this new interface and look is mega ugly! I started using other search engines, cause new UI is painfully irritating.

Oh god it’s terrible. Why would they think we’d want some bigass cartoonish links to things that are ALREADY LINKED AT THE TOP and that most people already have personal extensions or bookmarks to get to if they use them often enough?
I tried blocking the cookies like you said and nothing changed. Why wouldn’t they make this absurd redesign optional?

Google has now made this interface permanent (earlier it was testing the new UI so you could have blocked it) , but now since yesterday google has permanently implemented this interface

I hate it so much. Now I can’t block it. There was a firefox addon that says it disables it but that doesnt work neither

There is a userscript that restores the same look and feel of the old google. It will work if you use firefox with Greasemonkey extension
